LINE COOK / PREP COOK — FISH AND CHIPS

A fish-and-chips restaurant in Calgary is hiring a reliable kitchen staff member / cook.

Starting pay: CAD $16–$17 per hour.

Main responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and portion food according to recipes and restaurant standards.

- Carry out fryer and line-cooking tasks, including fish and chips.

- Follow orders accurately and work with the kitchen team during busy service.

- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils and kitchen equipment.

- Follow food-handling, storage and kitchen-safety procedures.

What we are looking for

- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.

- Able to follow instructions and work in a busy kitchen.

- Willing to help with food preparation, cooking and cleaning.

- Restaurant experience is preferred, especially kitchen or fryer experience. Training is available for the right candidate.





- Basic English sufficient to understand kitchen instructions, order details and food-safety directions. Fluent English is not required.

- Relevant food safety certification is preferred.

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

- Applicants must have no criminal record.
