Duties

- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, secure, and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, performing basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain optimal performance.
- Verify shipment accuracy, complete delivery documentation, and obtain signatures from recipients to confirm successful deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules, provide updates,



and resolve any delivery issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment throughout shifts.
- Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling to prevent accidents or damage.

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid AZ license or equivalent certification.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery used in freight handling.
- Knowledge of freight logistics, loading/unloading procedures, and safety standards in transportation environments.
- Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Ability to work independently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
