JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Production Director, the Future Production Leader (Supervisor in Training) enters a dynamic leadership path designed to elevate management capabilities while enhancing daily operational performance on the production floor.
Through structured training and active mentorship, the incumbent will build expertise in continuous improvement, team management, and strategic execution, seamlessly transitioning into full supervisory leadership.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shift Operations Supervision: Supervise and elevate shift operations to consistently surpass ambitious production targets and quality benchmarks.
- Team Leadership & Morale: Champion high team morale by inspiring, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative, positive workplace culture.
- Workflow Optimization: Streamline manufacturing workflows through Lean principles to maximize overall operational efficiency, safety, and throughput.
- Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and spearhead cost-optimization initiatives with innovative solutions.
- Safety Culture: Cultivate a proactive safety-first culture by performing floor audits and eliminating potential hazards.
- Coaching & Talent Development: Empower team members through targeted coaching and professional growth opportunities.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead high-impact continuous improvement projects that engage staff and elevate overall production standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Education:
High School Diploma required; College Diploma or technical training in a related field is a strong asset.
- Relevant Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments.
- Leadership Background: Prior experience as a team lead, lead hand, or cell coordinator is a distinct advantage.
- Digital Proficiency: Proficiency with essential digital tools and software (Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, etc.).
- Shift Flexibility: Flexibility across shifts (day, evening, night, weekend), starting with day-shift onboarding before transitioning to weekend night shifts.
