Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC)

About the role

Our immigration department is growing quickly, and we're looking for a licensed RCIC who wants to grow with it. This is a senior, client-facing role. You'll be the person prospective clients speak with when they're deciding whether to move forward and you'll carry those files through to submission. You'll work alongside an in-house genealogist and a supporting clerk team.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct paid consultations with prospective clients, assessing eligibility and mapping each applicant's circumstances
- Identify documentary gaps and advise on the records required
- Prepare and file applications, including legal submission letters
- Manage a caseload independently from consultation through to decision, including responses to IRCC requests
- Work alongside our genealogist on complex lineage and missing-record files
- Handle family sponsorship matters as needed

Qualifications:

- Active licence in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) - required
- Demonstrated experience conducting client consultations and converting them into retained files
- Solid working knowledge of the Citizenship Act




- Ability to explain complex legal positions clearly to non-specialist clients, many of them outside Canada
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple files independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and file management skills with high attention to detail

Assets:

- Experience in a sales or client-development role - if you've converted consultations into retained files before
- CRM experience (HubSpot or similar)French or additional languages

Salary: $50,000+ depending on experience and qualifications.
