Position : Kitchen Helper
Location: Burlington, ON
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $17.60/hr
The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cleaning, customer service, and general restaurant duties.
Responsibilities
- Clean and restock work areas and supplies
- Prepare fresh produce for the day
- Prepare pitas, salads, smoothies, and catering orders
- Answer phone calls and take customer orders when required
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen
- Take out garbage and assist with pre-closing duties
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service
- Support the team with other restaurant duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food-service experience is preferred
- Robust customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong team player
- Enjoys interacting with customers
- Hardworking, reliable, and punctual
- Able to maintain cleanliness and follow food-safety practices
