Advanced Precast Inc. is seeking a full-time, permanent Computer network technician to join our team at our Bolton, Ontario facility. Location: 6 Nixon Rd, Bolton, ON, L7E 1K3 (on site) Terms of employment: Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week, day shift Wage: $42.85 per hour Vacancies: 1

RESPONSIBILITIES - Coordinate access and use of computer networks - Install software - Install web server hardware and software - Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment - Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks - Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software - Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software - Provide problem-solving services to network users - Implement data,
software and hardware security procedures - Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records - Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations - Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
REQUIREMENTS - Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year - Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Language - English
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
