We are looking for a Part-Time Contractor to help with repairs, maintenance and property inspections at our residential properties in the Durham Region. Hours are flexible and some evenings and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities:

1. Repairs and Maintenance

- Timely response to client maintenance requests received from Maintenance Coordinator.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments with Clients.
- Diagnose and confirm maintenance issues via site visits and perform maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Use company software to complete each appointment, including tracking detailed notes, photos of the before and after repair work and inspection reports.
- Inspect properties during Tenant turn-over and provide feedback on any repairs and maintenance that might be required.

2. Conduct Preventative Maintenance Inspections

- Contact tenants to schedule semi-annual Preventative Maintenance Visits.
- Conduct Inspections, including Fire/CO detectors, using the company’s Preventative Maintenance Inspection Procedure.
- Use company software to complete each inspection, including detailed notes,



photos and recommended repairs.

3. Additional Responsibilities

- Work with the Business Manager on larger renovation projects, including, but not limited to, determining scope of project, material requirements, labour estimates, additional resources required and completion of required tasks.
- On occasion, perform maintenance tasks, such as grass cutting, snow removal, garbage/rubbish removal, custodial duties, purchase/pickup/delivery of various items, as required.

Job Types: Part time, Contract

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
