Yellow Door Construction is looking for a reliable, hands-on construction worker to join our team for residential and commercial finishing projects across the GTA.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable doing a variety of finishing work rather than specializing in only one trade. You do not need to be an expert in everything, but you should have construction experience, be willing to learn, and care about producing clean, skilled work.
Typical Work May Include:
- Interior painting, prep, patching and touch-ups
- Baseboards, trim and finish carpentry
- Installing doors, hardware and miscellaneous millwork
- Laminate, vinyl and other flooring installation
- Tile installation and basic tile work
- Drywall repairs and minor finishing
- Caulking and silicone
- Minor demolition and site preparation
- Deficiency repairs and final finishing
- General renovation and construction tasks as required
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous construction, renovation or finishing experience
- Is comfortable using common hand and power tools
- Can work independently once given direction
- Pays attention to details and finishes work properly
- Is willing to learn different trades and improve their skills
- Is reliable, punctual and communicates well
- Keeps the jobsite clean and organized
- Can work as part of a small construction team
- Has reliable transportation to jobsites across the GTA
- Has a valid driver’s licence
You do not have to be a master carpenter, painter or tile setter. We are looking for someone who is versatile, capable and interested in becoming a strong all-around construction finisher.

Pay: $3,500.00-$4,500.00 per month
