Sales & Leasing Representative – Woodstock & Kitchener

Independent Contractor | Commission-Based | Flexible Schedule

JH Property Management is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Leasing Representative to assist with leasing residential rental properties throughout Woodstock, Kitchener, and surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently. The successful candidate will help market our available properties, generate leads, conduct showings, and guide qualified applicants through the leasing process.

JH Property Management also provides leads through our existing marketing channels, so you will work with both company-provided and self-generated leads.

Responsibilities

- Advertise and market available rental properties
- Generate and follow up with prospective tenant leads
- Respond promptly to company-provided leads
- Schedule and conduct property showings
- Follow up with prospective tenants after showings
- Collect and review rental applications
- Verify references, employment, and income
- Run SingleKey reports
- Recommend qualified applicants for approval
- Maintain accurate lead and activity records within Follow Up Boss (FUB)
- Prepare Ontario Standard Leases and supporting lease documents for approved applicants
- Ensure all lease information is accurate and complete prior to submission for review and execution

Requirements

- Valid G Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle and valid insurance




- Must be willing and able to travel throughout both Woodstock and Kitchener, as well as surrounding areas
- Evening and occasional weekend availability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, responsive, and self-motivated
- Comfortable marketing properties and generating leads
- Ability to work independently
- Must maintain a valid HST number and invoice JH Property Management for commissions earned
- Previous leasing, sales, real estate, customer service, or property management experience is an asset

Compensation

- Commission paid per successful lease
- Compensation paid on the tenant’s move-in date
- Flexible schedule with no guaranteed hours
- Estimated annual earnings: $25,000–$60,000+
- Earning potential varies based on leasing activity, vacancy levels, and individual performance
