Forklift Operator

Location: NE Calgary, AB

Pay: $22.00/hour

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary/Ongoing with high potential for permanent employment

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a warehouse position in NE Calgary, AB.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts experience, a valid forklift license, and the ability to perform general warehouse duties. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable operating equipment and is also interested in being a material handler.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Move packaged materials from production lines to designated warehouse areas.
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials.
- Load and unload trailers accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect pallets and products for accuracy and visible damage.
- Prepare products and materials for shipment.
- Track and record materials and units handled.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse computer systems to track inventory and materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required.
- Learn and assist with basic equipment setup and maintenance, including equipment such as sealers, rollers, conveyors, and related production equipment.

Requirements





- Minimum 2 years of Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklift experience.
- Must have a valid forklift license
- Must be comfortable with other material handler duties within the warehouse
- Previous experience operating other warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, is an asset.
- RF scanner experience and basic computer literacy.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn basic equipment setup and maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse duties.
- Robust work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Willingness to perform a variety of warehouse duties.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must be able to reliably commute to site.
