Position: Intermediate Accountant

Reporting to: Business Owners

Location: Multi-locations, Lower Mainland, BC (On-site)

Position Overview:

Financial & Construction Companiesare seeking a detail-oriented and proactive intermediate accountant to join our team. This role involves managing daily accounting tasks across multiple family entities in various businesses and industries, including holding and operating companies.

Key Responsibilities

l Full-Cycle Accounting & Bookkeeping

Ø Perform full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting functions for the family-owned businesses.

Ø Support accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

l Banking & Treasury

Ø Assist with treasury functions, including online banking, bank deposits, and cash balance monitoring.

Ø Assist in the corporate cash flow budgeting and forecasting process.

l Compliance & Reporting

Ø Prepare for month-end closing, financial statements, and management reports.

Ø Prepare tax returns, including T1, T2, T3, T4/T4A, T5, charitable, and other tax filings as needed.

l Administrative & Team Support





Ø Process payroll functions and general office administration; assist with special projects as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

Ø Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Ø Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). CPA designation (in progress or completed) preferred.

Ø Proficiency in using the MS Office package ( Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Ø Familiarity with Canadian tax regulations and experience with tax software is an asset.

Ø Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ø Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Being fluent in both English and Mandarin is required.

Ø Organized self-starter, able to adapt and problem-solve with minimal supervision.

Ø Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.

Ø Self-aware and open to learning new things.

Pay: $44,267.92-$87,851.17 per year
