Facility Cleaner - Maintenance Helper

Department: Operations
Reports to: Production Supervisor

The starting hourly pay range for the role is $18.54-27.21 based on experience and qualifications. Plus, bonus, comprehensive benefits, retirement savings plan, paid vacation, and other perks and opportunities.

Purpose:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the scope of this position involves in assisting with efforts in cleaning the manufacturing facility as well as organizing, and maintaining the stock room that carried parts for the maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with cleaning the manufacturing facility
- Perform stockroom assistant duties in a warehouse setting
- Take stock of incoming materials and supplies as per invoice
- Organize, clean, and move parts around so stock parts are easy to locate
- Deliver stockroom materials to internal and external customers

Qualifications:

- Experience with maintenance parts is considered an asset but not required
- Positive attitude
- Ability to think outside the box
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and problem solving skills
- Proficient computer abilities using Word & Excel
- Own transportation

Working Environment:

Regular exposure to noise, odour, chemical hazards, hazardous machines and frequent interruptions. Occasional exposure to dust and extreme temperatures.

Physical Demands:





Standing and walking for extended length of time and frequent lifting of materials to a maximum weight of 25 kg.
