Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared with attention to quality, presentation, and taste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist with meal preparation and planning in collaboration with the kitchen team.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.




- Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Ability to prepare a variety of meals while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in the culinary field.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
