SCHEDULE

- Part-time or full-time
- Approximately 32–40 hours per week for full-time
- Weekday daytime hours




- Select evening shifts with additional bonus structure
- Optional Saturdays with an additional bonus
- Scheduling flexibility based on your availability and preferences

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling and polishing
- Perform periodontal assessments and accurately document findings
- Take dental radiographs as required
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist dentists during examinations, orthodontic treatments, and other procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
- Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care
- Maintain the highest standards of infection control and patient safety in accordance with IPAC, CDHO, and RCDSO guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

- Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Current professional liability insurance
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development

Preferred:

- Minimum 2 years of clinical hygiene experience preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply!
- Knowledge or experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry
- Experience with periodontal therapy and recall program management
- Local self-initiation authorization considered an asset
