One of our clients, a manufacturing company specializing in loading dock seals, is looking for an experienced Industrial Sewer with hands-on experience sewing boat covers and heavy-duty materials.

Responsibilities

- Operate single, double, and multi-needle industrial sewing machines.
- Sew and join sections of material to create finished products.
- Sew edges and seams accurately.
- Examine materials and repair defects during the manufacturing process.
- Complete production reports and work orders.
- Double-check completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow production and safety procedures.

Requirements

- Previous industrial sewing experience is a MUST.
- Hands-on experience sewing boat covers is a MUST.
- Experience working with heavy-duty fabrics, vinyl, canvas, or similar materials.
- Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines.
- Positive attention to detail and quality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to take direction.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- First Aid/WHMIS certification is an asset.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
