Position Summary
The Level 3 Engineer provides engineering design, analysis, and technical support for access, formwork, shoring, and related temporary works systems across commercial, industrial, construction, and energy sector projects. The role develops safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations, structural analysis, and design for scaffolding, hoists, mast climbers, suspended access systems, shoring, and formwork applications.
- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, and structural analysis software.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and related deliverables as authorized.
- Provide technical support to branches, customers, sales teams, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits, field inspections, and engineering assessments as required.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product development teams, and operations personnel to develop practical and innovative solutions.
- Assist with technical proposals, project planning, and engineering documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of company products, engineering best practices, and industry developments.
- Promote a strong safety culture and comply with all applicable health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Applied Science, or a related discipline.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
in good standing with PEO or another recognized Canadian engineering regulatory authority with eligibility for registration in Ontario.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant structural or application engineering experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Microsoft Office, and structural analysis software.
- Robust knowledge of structural engineering principles, design codes, and industry standards.
- Experience with temporary works, access systems, scaffolding, shoring, or formwork is considered an asset.
- Experience in industrial, nuclear, or energy sector projects is considered an asset.
- Ability to travel to branch locations, customer facilities, and project sites as required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Working Conditions
- Work is performed in both office and field environments.
- Occasional travel to customer sites, branch locations, and project sites is required.
- Field visits may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with site-specific safety requirements.
Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
