Daycare handler (part-time)

Must be available

Shift : 3 days per week 12pm-4pm

Fillin when needed.

Could lead to more hours in the future.

Duties:

-2 (30 min dog walks per shift)
- Provide a protected and nurturing environment for dogs in the daycare
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime and activities
- Plan and implement developmental appropriate mental and physical activities
- Assist with feedings, bathing, nail trims and overall care of all dogs
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment

Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with dogs is preferred

- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with owners and colleagues

- Ability to multitask and handle the demands of a busy daycare setting

-Walk: Willing and able to walk small groups of dogs (30min walks each).





Education: Knowledge of principles and practices related to reward based handling and training

must be able to stand entire shift. Work in a fast paced environment.

Commitment: Looking for someone dedicated to working here long term.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
