Duties
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport food supplies and orders to customers’ locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen cleanup, ensuring cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Load and unload deliveries using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks, performing heavy lifting when necessary
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection records, and inventory documentation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order pickups and ensure timely deliveries
- Move supplies within the warehouse or storage areas using proper techniques and equipment
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking and adaptability
- Valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving; clean driving record preferred
