Urban Dog is looking for a dog-loving, outdoorsy person to join our team!

This is a part time, weekday daytime position with pay based on the number of dogs walked. Occasional weekend work is also available if you’re interested. Potential to move into a full-time position for the right person.

You’re a great fit if you:

- Love dogs and being outdoors
- Live on the North Shore
- Are dependable, physically fit and comfortable hiking in all weather conditions
- Have a valid BC driver’s licence
- Have a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting up to six dogs
- Are bondable and able to provide references
- Are fluent in spoken and written English
- Are interested in a long-term position
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

What the job involves:

- Group dog walks, private dog walks and pet visits
- Safe transportation of dogs to and from trails.



Picking up after the dogs.
- Cleaning and maintaining a dog friendly vehicle
- Communicating professionally with clients and ensuring their dog is wiped down upon drop off
- Ensuring dogs are safe, happy, and well cared for
