Excel Restoration Inc. provides emergency response, restoration, and reconstruction services to the insurance industry, residential and commercial customers, offering a wide range of services that remediate conditions caused by fire, flood, wind, and other hazards.
The Flood Technician responds to water related emergencies in residential homes and commercial properties. Technicians are responsible for stabilizing, cleaning and placing drying equipment in preparation for restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
· Providing up-to-date communication and photos to Production Manager regarding project status
· Determining category of water loss
· Extracting water using truck mounts and portable pumps
· Setting up drying equipment as per established procedures
· Cleaning and sanitizing using bio wash procedures
· Monitoring drying process and adjust equipment as required
· Working within an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications:
· Water Restoration Technician certification is a definite asset
· Clean criminal record check
· Valid Class 5 drivers license with clean abstract
· Experience driving/parking a panel van and cube truck
· Superior customer service skills and utmost professionalism with clients
· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
· Safe use of power tools and hand tools
· Able to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers 75-100 pounds
· Knowledge of construction and basic building materials
· Daily completion and tracking of job paperwork, timesheets, checkout forms, vehicle records and other necessary paperwork
· Maintenance and cleaning of equipment
· Must be inoculated against Tetanus and Hepatitis A & B
· Attend on-going training and certification as needed
· Communicate well in English (written and spoken)

Wage: $25-$27 / hour
