Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Tire Porter to join our team. As a Tire Porter, you will be responsible for managing tire inventory, assisting with the movement of tires, and ensuring that the work area remains clean and organized. You will play a vital role in supporting the service team and maintaining an efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move, organize, and store tires and other related products when necessary.
- Ability to drive a cube van for transporting the required tires.
- Ensure all tires are stored in the appropriate locations to maximize space and prevent damage.
- Help with loading and unloading tires for customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tire storage areas.
- Assist service technicians by providing tires as needed.
- Conduct basic inspections to ensure the tires are in good condition and ready for service.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers or other team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
