On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager - IMA Internal Models Approach for an 11 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.
Project Manager - IMA Internal Models Approach - Job Description:
The role will be part of the Internal Models Approach (IMA) project, ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams while providing subject matter expertise. The Project Manager will work on delivering IMA-specific components and engage with senior leaders to drive strategic project management initiatives.
Project Manager - IMA Internal Models Approach - Responsibilities:
- Lead transformation and change management initiatives focusing on Capital Markets.
- Influence and build cooperative relationships with Global Markets stakeholders.
- Manage multiple stakeholders to derive business requirements for technical solutions.
- Coordinate internal and external dependencies across initiatives.
- Identify and resolve or escalate risks and issues promptly.
- Produce project update materials tailored for various forums and committees.
- Build strong relationships to support program execution.
Project Manager - IMA Internal Models Approach - Mandatory Skills:
- Experience delivering IMA-specific components.
- Strong Market Risk experience with HVaR model management.
- Experience with FRTB and front office regulatory initiatives.
- Knowledge of derivatives trading, risk, and P&L; flows.
- Proven track record in strategic project management.
- Significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation.
- Excellent communication skills.
Project Manager - IMA Internal Models Approach – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in Markets, Risk, and Regulatory projects/programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, Master’s preferred.
- Project Management certifications like PMP.
- Experience with JIRA and Agile framework.
Project Manager - IMA Internal Models Approach – Assignment Length:
The assignment is expected to end on 6/30/27, with a possible extension.

Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office.
