About Nans Cookies

Nans Cookies is a 100% Indigenous-owned bakery on Six Nations of the Grand River. It all started with Nan's recipe — classic, golden-brown cookies made with real ingredients — and we now bake them in a nut-free commercial kitchen and ship them to retailers across Ontario (and yes, Drake's a fan). We're a young, fast-growing company that believes in mentoring people and growing together, and we're looking for a General Help team member to support daily production.

What you'll do

- Assist with cookie production: mixing, portioning, tray prep, and running the conveyor ovens
- Wrap, package, and label finished cookies for wholesale and retail orders
- Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and keep the kitchen clean and organized
- Receive and put away ingredient deliveries, rotate stock, and keep the walk-in tidy
- Help with general kitchen tasks as needed — every day is a bit different

What we're looking for





- Reliable and punctual — we run a steady schedule and count on you being there
- Reliable transportation to Ohsweken (no public transit to the bakery)
- Comfortable on your feet for a full shift and lifting up to 25 lbs (flour, sugar, trays)
- Takes direction well and works cleanly and efficiently
- Positive attitude, willing to learn — no bakery experience required, we'll train you
- Food Handler certification is an asset (not required — we can help you get it)
