We are currently seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and coordinate a jobsite including Earth Max employees as well as sub trades. The correct candidate will have prior experience as either a foreman or site superintendent and be experienced in civil construction. The correct candidate must also be well tempered and have the ability to deal with the challenges that construction provides

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate day-to-day construction operations on the job site
- Supervise and support, foremen, and field crews
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials across the project
- Monitor productivity, progress, and quality control in real time
- Coordinate and manage the sub trades on the job site in regards to both the work and safety
- Troubleshoot issues onsite and provide immediate direction to keep work moving
- Lead by example, promoting a positive and respectful work environment aligned with Earth Max values
- Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements




- Coordinate required testing and inspections
- Identify deficiencies and ensure they are corrected
- Maintain required quality-control documentation
- Coordinate with surveyors for required layout and elevations
- Maintain daily construction reports, document delays, site conditions, changes and issues

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, including supervisory or coordination experience
- Strong understanding of grading(GPS asset), excavation, and underground utilities (water/sewer)
- Proven ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and suppliers simultaneously
- Solid grasp of construction timelines, productivity tracking, and job costing
- Familiar with Manitoba construction regulations, COR procedures, and workplace safety protocols
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites
- A strong communicator with a team-first mindset and commitment to jobsite excellence

Preferred Qualifications

- First Aid, WHMIS, COR Leadership for Safety Excellence (asset)
- Class 1 or 3 license (asset)
- Experience using construction scheduling or reporting software (e.g., Heavy Job, MS Project, Excel)
