About Us

Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future. Utilities around the world rely on our nuclear fuel products to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco’s corporate office is based in Saskatoon. We have mining operations and projects in northern Saskatchewan, Kazakhstan, the United States and Australia. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.

The Role

As a member of the treasury, tax, and risk management team, you will be part of a high functioning skilled team.

In this role, you will:

- support tax-related responsibilities including assisting with preparation of indirect tax monthly compliance and international information filing compliance, audit queries, preparation of smaller Canadian and US income tax filings, and assist with research of small tax projects.
- assist with treasury-related duties such as cash forecasting, marketing updates, back office trading confirmations,



treasury payments, and cash management follow-ups.
- learn how to use and follow proper internal controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.
- prepare month end journal entries and management reporting packages.
support account reviews and assist with various ad-hoc analysis and information requests as required.

Required:

- Entering your third or fourth year at the Edwards School of Business, majoring in accounting or finance;
- You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco; and
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
