Embark on a hands-on 12-month co-op as a CNC Optical Technician with L3Harris in Don Mills, Ontario. As part of the Wescam division, you will gain experience in generating and polishing optical components using various CNC equipment. Ideal candidates will have a background in Photonics or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Set up CNC programs and CAN cycles using G-code

- Grind and edge optical components with precision CNC machines
- Polish optical components, including aspheric varieties
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed Enrolled in a relevant diploma program (Photonics/Mechanical Engineering)
- Robust technical knowledge and ability to read drawings
- Independent work capability with minimal supervision
- Experience with CNC and precision optics machinery Develop your CNC and optics skills at L3Harris while contributing to critical defense technology.
