We are currently looking to hire our next great team member for the position of Account Manager in the Greater Toronto Area. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven, customer-focused sales professional who enjoys developing new business, strengthening long-term partnerships, and matching customers with the right equipment solutions.

What You'll Do

As an Account Manager, you'll play a key role in driving rental revenue, equipment and merchandise sales, customer account growth, and long-term relationships across an assigned territory. You'll work closely with Inside Sales, Operations, Service, Dispatch, and branch teams to align customer needs with available rental, sales, service, and merchandise solutions.

- Develop and execute territory plans to grow rental revenue, equipment sales, merchandise sales, new accounts, and repeat customer business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, providing consistent communication, timely follow-up, and reliable service support.
- Secure new rental and merchandise customers through jobsite visits, prospecting calls, customer outreach, and relationship-building activities.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers across construction, industrial, commercial, and related customer sectors.
- Promote rental equipment, current and used equipment sales, merchandise,



and value-added solutions that align with customer needs.
- Work toward assigned sales targets and maintain accurate call logs, visit notes, forecasts, pipeline records, KPI dashboards, and territory updates.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, customer needs, and territory trends to support informed sales planning.
- Collaborate with branch teams on quotes, reservations, equipment availability, customer requirements, and service-related needs while following company safety and jobsite requirements.

Qualifications

Required

- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, sales experience, and industry knowledge.
- Proven experience in business development, account management, project management, customer retention, or outside sales.
- Knowledge of material handling and aerial equipment.




- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, customer service, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications and the ability to maintain sales activity records, call notes, forecasts, and reports.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned Greater Toronto Area territory and maintain safe driving and jobsite conduct.
- Ability to work legally in Canada.

Preferred

- Experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial sales, commercial sales, or a related customer-facing field sales environment.
- Experience with customer relationship management, rental, sales, or pipeline tracking systems.
- Knowledge of used and new equipment sales, fleet utilization, rental contracts, and merchandise opportunity development.
- Additional sales, negotiation, equipment, safety, or leadership training.

Total Compensation Range: $60,000 - $110,000 (includes base salary plus monthly commissions based on performance)
