We're Hiring: Accountant

At Valley Integration Inc., we're looking for an experienced Accountant who will play a critical role in managing the financial operations that support industrial automation and infrastructure projects across Canada. This is more than a traditional accounting position it is a strategic role that combines financial management, project accounting, budgeting, inventory control, compliance, and business process improvement.

In this role, you will:

- Manage the complete accounting cycle, including General Ledger, journal entries, month-end and year-end closing, and financial record management.
- Oversee project accounting by managing budgets, job costing, Work-in-Progress (WIP), project profitability, milestone billing, and revenue recognition.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, valuation, costing, reconciliations, and financial controls using Zoho Inventory.
- Lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and cash flow optimization.
- Prepare annual budgets, departmental budgets, project forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Administer payroll, statutory deductions, T4 preparation, CRA remittances, and ensure full compliance with Canadian payroll regulations.
- Ensure timely GST/HST filings, tax documentation, government remittances, and ongoing compliance with Canadian accounting and tax requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs Actual, Project Profitability, Gross Margin Analysis,



and executive management reports.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, support audits, improve accounting processes, and safeguard financial integrity across the organization.
- Administer and optimize the Zoho One financial ecosystem, including Zoho Books, Zoho Projects, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Expense, Zoho Payroll, and Zoho Analytics to improve reporting, automation, and operational efficiency.

We're looking for professionals who have:

- Experience in accounting within construction, engineering, industrial automation, or project-based organizations.
- Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho One applications, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards, payroll administration, CRA compliance, and taxation.
- Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across finance, operations, procurement, HR, and project management teams.
