The Wabun Tribal
Council is hiring a Finance Administrator to manage its accounting tasks. You will work closely with the Finance Advisor to ensure that the general ledger remains accurate and financial records are consistently updated. Your experience with accounting systems and excellent communication skills will be crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely payment processing for invoices and statements
- Record financial transactions in the accounting system
- Support the Finance Advisor with various financial matters
- Prepare timely financial status reports for stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with government funding criteria Requirements:
- Minimum 3-year Accounting Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting
- Experience with Indigenous organizations and systems
