Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, providing exceptional customer service to patients, and supporting the administrative functions of the medical office.

Duties

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information and insurance details
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Handle patient check-in and check-out processes
- Manage office correspondence and communication

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures




- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Epic
- Robust administrative skills with proficiency in office tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with phone systems and front desk operations is advantageous
