Administration Manager, Finance

Role Overview
As Administration Manager, Finance, you will play a strategic leadership role supporting the Lynn Lake operation through financial planning, reporting, cost management, procurement oversight, and business analysis. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, you will partner closely with site leadership, technical teams, and corporate stakeholders to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency, informed decision-making, capital planning, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, variance analysis, and financial modeling to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management presentations for site and corporate leadership.
- Cost Management & Operational Support:
Partner with operational departments to identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor production costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives through meaningful financial analysis.
- Capital Project Management: Monitor capital project expenditures, evaluate investment performance, support development projects, and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Accounts Payable, Payroll & Administration: Provide leadership and oversight to payroll, accounts payable, procurement, and warehouse functions while establishing performance metrics and service standards.
- Compliance & Team Leadership: Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements while developing and mentoring a high-performing finance team.
What You Bring to the Table
- University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA designation.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including experience within mining, natural resources, heavy industrial, or related sectors.
- Two to five years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis.
- Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems such as SAP and OneStream, combined with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Results-oriented leadership style with a commitment to team development, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in Manitoba mining operations would be considered an asset.

Working Conditions
- 40-hour work week within a 5/2 or 4/3 schedule during the project development phase.
- Remote work arrangement during project development with regular travel to site and corporate offices.
- Transition to a primarily site-based 7/7 rotation schedule once operations commence.
- Combination of office and operational site environment.
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods of sitting and computer work.
- Ability to travel to operational sites and participate in site visits and field reviews as required.
Travel & Accommodation
- Regular travel required between project sites and corporate offices during the development phase.
- Company-provided travel and accommodation arrangements in accordance with corporate travel policies.
