Insurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more) Retirement savings plan Employee Assistance Program The Advisor, Safety Management System is responsible for proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating product safety risks to prevent aircraft accidents and incidents: Advise senior management on Product Safety and risk mitigation strategies to improve organizational processes, operational performance, and overall safety outcomes. Develop, implement, and optimize Safety Management System (SMS) standards, tools, and processes, and provide training and guidance to staff to ensure effective deployment.

Assess and monitor the effectiveness of SMS implementation, recommending improvements to organizational methods, operational processes, and safety procedures.

Identify Product

Safety hazards, conduct investigations, perform risk assessments, and develop contingency and problem‑solving plans to support continuous improvement across the organization.



Lead and coordinate Product Safety initiatives and strategic projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement process improvements and strengthen SMS effectiveness. Define, map, and optimize business processes to improve operational efficiency, safety outcomes, and overall organizational performance.

Conduct research on industry practices, participate in consultative organizations, and provide recommendations to enhance safety management processes and benchmark best practices. Support organizational change initiatives that could have an impact on product safety, including facilitation of problem‑solving workshops and communication of key processes to stakeholders. You possess a technical college degree or bachelor’s in aerospace or in another technical related field.

You are knowledgeable of SMS related regulations and international standards ("SM-0001"). You have experience with project management principles and tools (an asset). You have experience with risk management principles and tools (an asset).

You are bilingual in written and oral French and English (essential). You master the Microsoft Office suite.
