What you'll do

- Plan and execute single-pilot aerial survey flights under IFR in a PA-31 Navajo.
- Coordinate mission planning, route selection, fuel strategy, and weight & balance to meet survey objectives.
- Operate in both single-pilot and two-crew environments; work closely with sensor/tech teams.
- Maintain strict compliance with SOPs, Canadian Aviation Regulations, and company SMS.
- Manage field operations: aircraft care, ground handling, documentation, and post-mission reporting.
- Travel for rotational field assignments and adapt to diverse terrain, weather, and remote locations.

What you bring

- Canadian CPL or ATPL.
- Valid Category 1 Medical.
- Valid Radio Telephone Operator’s Certificate (Industry Canada).
- Instrument Rating.




- Minimum 1,000 hours total time.
- Two-crew and single-pilot IFR experience.
- Valid Canadian passport and the visas/travel documents needed to travel unrestricted.
- Dexterity and the ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Willingness to work a rotational schedule with frequent travel across North America.

Preferred

- Piper Navajo (PA-31) experience.
- Previous airborne survey/remote sensing experience.
- Multi-engine experience.
- Based in, or able to relocate to, the Calgary area.
