AgeCare is excited to welcome a Registered Practical Nurse to our dedicated team. This role requires a blend of nursing skills and knowledge of long-term care regulations. You will coordinate with the Registered Nurse and guide Personal Support Workers, ensuring all residents receive exceptional care while fostering a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with RN to implement policies on the unit • Assist in the development of care procedures in the residence • Coordinate communication with healthcare professionals • Alert physicians regarding changes in resident conditions • Supervise Personal Support Workers’ daily activities
Requirements: • Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses • Background in long-term and rehabilitation nursing • Familiarity with health regulations and standards • Proven administration skills in healthcare settings • Active member of the College of Nurses
