Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Kitchener, Ontario (4 days onsite)

Rate of Pay: $30.00/hr

Job Type: 6-month contract with possible conversion

Responsibilities

- Execute full-cycle Ontario payroll processing accurately and within established timelines
- Manage year-end compliance tasks including the preparation, reconciliation, and filing of T4s
- Process Records of Employment (ROEs), benefits enrollment, and regular tax remittances
- Support the broader finance and payroll departments with variance analysis and reporting
- Coordinate cross-functional updates to maintain accurate digital employee data and payroll records
- Collaborate with regional teams to gradually learn, map, and document international payroll workflows

Qualifications

- 3 or more years of hands-on experience managing full-cycle Ontario payroll operations
- Active Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) certification, or active progression toward completing the designation




- Foundational knowledge of processing statutory documentation, including benefits administration, ROEs, T4s, and tax remittances
