We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our growing maintenance team at Spectrum Airways / Kovachik Aircraft Service in Burlington, Ontario. The successful candidate will assist with the inspection, maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft in a fast-paced flight training and general aviation maintenance environment. This role offers an excellent prospect to work on a diverse fleet while building a rewarding career in aviation maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on piston aircraft in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and manufacturer maintenance manuals
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on aircraft systems and components
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and avionics discrepancies efficiently and accurately
- Complete maintenance releases, technical records, and work orders in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support aircraft fleet serviceability and maintenance planning to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with operations and flight training departments to ensure aircraft availability
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces in the hangar and maintenance areas
- Assist with aircraft movements, engine changes, and special maintenance projects as required
