Southern Aero has a staff of ~4 aircraft fuellers at the Lethbridge Airport. We fuel and provide servicing for private aircraft.

This position is to be the ops manager for our Lethbridge operation.

It is a combination of admin work, training employees, working the ramp, and hopefully being mechanically inclined to help out with general maintenance of the equipment and buildings.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Fuel, deice, marshall, baggage loading/unloading of aircraft
- Towing aircraft in and out of hangars
- Operate ground support equipment
- Keep our buildings and equipment in good order
- Scheduling, hiring, training, record keeping and emailing vendors/suppliers/customers
- Maintaining a friendly and productive relationship with all airport staff and customers

Qualifications and Skills

- Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.




- Ability to lead employees in a constructive manner
- Must be comfortable with working outdoors, day, night and in all weather conditions
- Prior experience in equipment operation and/or maintenance is an asset
- Prior experience managing personelle is an asset
- Able to provide a criminal record check
- Computer ability - excel sheets, plenty of emails/drafting memo's etc

Physical Requirements:

- Physically fit
- Bending and stooping to pick up tow bars and other equipment, up to 75 lbs
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
