Animal Care Attendant

We are expanding our team!! Dog Daycare and Boarding are steadily busy, and we need amazing people to join our team!

Must have open availability on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

HOURS: 12-40 hours per week (Schedule could fluctuate).

VEHICLE REQUIRED – Reliable transportation required.

MUST be 18 or older and experience with both cats and dogs preferred .

THE JOB

This job is a lot of hands-on with the dogs and cats, but also a lot of cleaning and other care for the pets. This is NOT sit-and-snuggle-with-the-pets type of work (although there are the perks of that!). It’s a physical hands-on job and every day is different and never boring.

SHIFTS

Mornings are from 7am so you must be an early riser and ready to work hard each day. All employees are required to work 2-3 split shifts per week (ie: 7am-11am and 3pm-7pm to get your 8 hours per day). All days are from 7am until 7pm, 365 days a year so you would get up to an 8-hour shift between those hours.

We are in the service industry, so peak times include all the times off that people normally want.



Holidays and weekends are our busiest times, and we need people available to work.

Expect to work some stat holidays and during holiday seasons.

MUST LOVE PEOPLE, CATS, AND DOGS

This position has a lot of client-facing interaction, so a love of both people AND pets is required.

Caring for our people clients is just as key as caring for our pet clients.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO PEOPLE WITH ANIMAL CARE EXPERIENCE.

OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH

WAGE

This position begins at minimum wage during training, with advancements based on performance, education completed, and tenure. There is room for advancement in seniority and pay.
