Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Landscape Gardener and start on an exciting journey into the world of outdoor beautification and landscape maintenance! This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in landscape maintenance and landscape design while working alongside experienced professionals.

You will gain practical experience in maintaining vibrant gardens, and using a variety of tools and techniques to create and enhance outdoor spaces.

In this role you would start as an Apprentice and have advancement to Site Coordinator guaranteed for the right candidate after proven experience/training.

THIS ROLE WOULD START AS PART TIME AND WORK TOWARDS BECOMING FULL TIME - YEAR ROUND HOURS.

The experienced candidate needs to have at least 1 year experience in landscaping.

Some tasks would include

- Planning day to day work on-site
- Organizing other staff to complete tasks/projects
- Lawn care (mowing, trimming, edging, blowing)
- General garden maintenance (weeding, planting, pruning, leaf pickup)
- Garden bed preparation (digging, leveling, tree install)
- Experience driving with a trailer is an asset

Requirements:
- 1 year minimum experience working in landscaping
- Must have a valid Driver’s license with an N minimum




- Must be reliable to work when scheduled daily
- Must be able to work rain or shine, no exceptions
- Physically fit to complete all tasks and projects
- Able to drive a company vehicle if required

Scheduled workday shifts are between Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:30am-5pm. Most days are 4-6 hours, varies from winter to summer hours. This is a physical job with lots of potential for moving ahead, so if you’re looking for working outdoors while you make money and gain landscaping and managing experience then this is the perfect job for you!

Hourly wage starts at $22.00/hour and increases with proven experience and time worked with the company. We offer fully paid tuition for courses related to landscape tickets.

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
