Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Part-Time Art Instructor to teach students from Pre-K to Grade 7. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is skilled across multiple mediums, and can balance structured teaching with creativity.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate art lessons (ages 4–12)
- Teach a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, crafts, and mixed media
- Maintain a structured, positive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Manage classes of 10+ students effectively
- Encourage creativity while building strong technical foundations




- Keep classroom materials organized and ensure proper cleanup
- Adapt lessons to suit different age groups and skill levels

Requirements

- Previous teaching experience (art or related field required)
- Strong skills in traditional art mediums (drawing, watercolor, acrylic, etc.)
- Ability to manage and engage a group of children in a classroom setting
- Patient, responsible, and energetic personality
- Willingness to learn new techniques and teaching approaches

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in early childhood education
- Familiarity with digital tools such as Blender and Procreate
- Background in animation, concept art, or creative technologies
