The Data Integration
Analyst designs, builds, and maintains data integration and data architecture solutions that enable timely, secure, and reliable access to high-quality corporate data. Working within the Data Architecture & Integration function, the role connects internal and external systems, applications, APIs, and data services to deliver governed, accurate, and reliable data supporting operational and analytical needs across the organization. This role develops and optimizes data pipelines, workflows, and transformation processes, and contributes to the evolution of enterprise data architecture patterns such as data warehousing, data virtualization, and cloud-based integration.
The role partners closely with Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Geospatial Systems, and business stakeholders to translate data needs into technical specifications, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement durable solutions that improve reliability, consistency, and trust in corporate data. Through disciplined documentation, version control, and deployment practices, the Data Integration Analyst supports sustainable delivery and operational stewardship of integration components, ensuring integrations are observable, supportable, and aligned with governance, privacy, and security requirements.

• Integration Data Integration Analyst Lead end-to-end delivery of data integration solutions from requirements through deployment and operationalization, connecting internal and external systems, applications, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and data services to support operational and analytical use cases. Develop and optimize data pipelines, workflows, and transformation processes to ensure data is delivered in a timely, consistent, reliable manner across platforms and business units. Analyze source systems and datasets to define integration requirements, identify data quality issues affecting integrated data flows, and recommend improvements to standardization, consistency, and usability of corporate data. Create, refine, and maintain logical and physical data models that support new and existing business processes, and enable consistent downstream consumption. REST/GraphQL or other service-oriented patterns), including integration specifications, interface/data contracts, versioning expectations, and lineage documentation, while ensuring operational support documentation is maintained. Implement automation and orchestration approaches to streamline data movement, reduce manual effort, and improve repeatability and resilience of integration processes. Own operational stewardship for integration services (monitoring, reliability, security controls, issue management, and root-cause analysis), proactively manage integration dependencies and data risks, and communicate operational health, risks, and remediation actions to stakeholders.
Lead the development and maintenance of data integration patterns, reference architectures, and reusable components (e.g., data virtualization/warehouse/cloud integration patterns), evaluating emerging integration technologies and trends to improve delivery efficiency, productivity, and long-term maintainability, while ensuring alignment with BCER standards. Support internal and external data sharing initiatives by ensuring integrations and datasets comply with governance, privacy, and security requirements. Contribute to enterprise data cataloguing, metadata, and lineage practices by maintaining documentation and integration artifacts that improve discoverability, stewardship, and supportability of trusted data products. Use Git (or equivalent) version control and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) release practices to manage integration code, configuration, and deployment artifacts; apply disciplined change management, documentation, validation/testing, and operational readiness practices for all integration work. Provide technical direction and quality review of contractor-delivered integration components, ensuring deliverables align with standards and operational readiness expectations. • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, and four years of relevant experience
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. Demonstrated experience designing, building, and supporting data integration solutions that move and transform data across systems and platforms to support operational and analytical needs. Demonstrated experience with SQL and working with relational and non-relational data sources, including building reliable data transformations and integration workflows. Demonstrated experience developing and supporting API-based integrations and service-oriented interfaces, including troubleshooting reliability, performance, and security issues. Demonstrated experience in data modeling (logical and physical) and applying data warehousing and/or data virtualization concepts to support governed, consistent data consumption. Demonstrated experience with version control (e.g., Git) and structured change management practices for integration code, configuration, and deployment artifacts. Demonstrated experience with automation/orchestration approaches for data movement and integration operations, including monitoring and operational support practices. Demonstrated experience producing clear technical documentation (integration specifications, data mappings, lineage notes, runbooks) and translating stakeholder needs into implementable technical requirements.
Preference may be given to individuals with experience in data cataloguing/metadata management practices and/or cloud-based integration patterns, including exposure to cloud platforms and enterprise orchestration approaches.
