Assembler

Sound Enclosures Ltd. manufactures custom steel-framed panel buildings and industrial noise reduction systems for oilfield, commercial, agricultural, and industrial applications.

We are currently hiring an experienced Assembler to join our Manufacturing team. This is a hands-on shop position responsible for assembling steel components and related materials using drawings, specifications, and production requirements. We're looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and written instructions
- Assemble steel components using hand tools, power tools, and related equipment
- Measure, cut, grind, finish, and prepare materials as required
- Assist with installation of sheet metal and structural components
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Identify and correct assembly issues as appropriate
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow production schedules and meet assigned targets

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with steel fabrication, construction, or mechanical assembly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings




- Robust mechanical aptitude
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment
- Basic measurement and math skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively within a production team
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures

Physical Requirements

- Prolonged standing and repetitive assembly work
- Ability to lift and handle moderate to heavy materials
- Regular use of hand and power tools
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing shop environment
