Role Overview:
- Observe a complete build of all assemblies at the Giving Site and Knowledge transfer to the Receiving site.
- Validate the Existing work Instruction with the Production line and identify and capture any shop aids or “Hidden Factory” elements not currently documented in existing Work Instructions
- Provide a consolidated list of identified shop aids by workbook
- Identify and document any undocumented modifications affecting part fit or form
- Create and submit sketches illustrating part or tool modifications for review and approval
- Identify any Condition of Supply (COS) documents that require updates or modifications
- Validate that all required jigs, fixtures, tools, hand tools, consumables, hardware, and parts are correctly called out in existing Wins.
- Validate that all detail parts match with the released Condition of Supply and red mark if any deviation is found.
- Verify that assemblies conform to applicable Engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements
- Identify, document, and report any nonconformances, discrepancies, or deviations discovered during FAI.
- Support resolution of issues through corrective action, re-inspection,
or updated documentation as required
- Interpret, drawings and other engineering documents.
- Participate actively in production support by coordinating problem solving with other support departments.
Qualifications
- You have a college or university diploma in Mechanical, Avionics, Electrical, Industrial, Electromechanics Engineering, Aerospace Manufacturing or minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant area.
- You can read technical drawings and have good visualization in 3D with positive analytical skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing and assembly techniques
- You have a good command of French, written and spoken and have a good knowledge of English.
- Participation in periodic internal/external reviews
- Coordinating and building communication between customers and Offshore team.
- You have good logical mechanical skills.
- You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
- You can work with computer-based software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia, etc.;
- You can work with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP, etc.;
