Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bagger Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and packaging products to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with various tools and machinery.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing processes while contributing to a rapid-paced production environment.

Duties

- Configure and operate tortilla packaging equipment, including bagger, coder vision system, and counter stacker.
- Records parameters of production on an hourly basis (settings, lot numbers) at the beginning of shift.
- Ensure proper coding and labeling of finished packages.
- Ensure the proper packaging is used.
- Assist in packing and palletizing of finished product as required.
- Assist in the inspection of finished product, removing defective tortillas that do not meet Company specifications.
- Provide information to supervisor/manager on any anomalies or issues that arise on the packaging line.




- Comply with all sanitation, food safety and health and safety programs.
- Support continuous initiatives within the plant.
- Complete housekeeping duties according to Company specifications.
- Other duties as required.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years’ packaging experience within a production/manufacturing environment.
- Bakery or foodservice experience strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of food safety, quality processes and process compliance.
- Basic written and oral communication skills (English).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
- Able to lift weights up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
