Duties

- Assist in preparing ingredients and baking a wide range of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications.
- Package baked items efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers by answering questions about products and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment, work surfaces, and storage spaces.
- Follow food handling procedures and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.




- Support the team during busy hours by restocking supplies and assisting with food preparation tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, including baking and cooking skills.
- Experience with cake decorating or pastry arts is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Understanding of food safety practices and proper handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or bakery supplies.
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food industry standards will be advantageous.
