- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Package baked goods carefully for retail display or customer take-away, ensuring product quality.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations.
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure all items meet health regulations.




- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant, bakery, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Skills in cake decorating or baking are highly desirable; willingness to develop these skills is important.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food industry standards is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays or ingredients, and work collaboratively with team members.
