Duties

- Greet clients warmly and assist with scheduling appointments at the front desk
- Prepare workstations by sanitizing tools, chairs, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
- Support barbers by passing tools, fetching supplies, and ensuring they have everything needed for precise hair styling
- Engage with clients through friendly communication, offering product recommendations and upselling retail items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the salon or barbershop environment




- Assist with retail sales by promoting grooming products and accessories to clients
- Handle basic administrative tasks such as checking in clients, managing appointment schedules, and processing payments

Experience

- Previous experience in customer service or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Knowledge of hair styling techniques or familiarity with barber tools is a plus but can be learned on the job
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to follow sanitation procedures meticulously to ensure a safe setting for everyone
- Willingness to learn about grooming products, upselling strategies, and salon operations
- Prior experience at the front desk or in administrative roles is advantageous but not mandatory
