About Uppercuts Barbershop

Uppercuts Barbershop Ltd. is an established and growing barbershop brand serving clients throughout the Lower Mainland.

We are currently looking for talented and motivated Barbers / Hairstylists to join our teams at our Maple Ridge and Walnut Grove (Langley) locations.

We offer a busy, professional and energetic environment with a strong existing customer base, walk-in traffic and opportunities to build and grow your clientele.

The Position

We are looking for barbers who take pride in their work, provide excellent customer service and want to work in a busy team environment.

Whether you’re an experienced barber with an established clientele or a motivated barber looking for an chance to grow, we’d like to hear from you.

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional men’s and children’s haircuts
- Perform skin fades, tapers, scissor cuts and modern hairstyles
- Provide beard trims, line-ups and grooming services
- Consult with clients to understand their desired style
- Deliver consistent, high-quality cuts and customer service
- Maintain a clean and sanitized barber station
- Keep tools and equipment clean and properly maintained
- Recommend appropriate styling and grooming products
- Help create a welcoming and professional atmosphere
- Work cooperatively with reception and other barbers
- Build strong relationships with new and returning clients





What We’re Looking For

- Strong barbering and/or hairstyling skills
- Experience with fades, tapers and modern men’s hairstyles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Skilled, reliable and punctual
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a busy shop environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented attitude
- Motivated to build and maintain a clientele
- Availability for full-time or part-time shifts

Existing clientele is an asset but not required.
