Job Summary

We are seeking a customer focused individual to join our team and grow alongside our expanding businesses. While training will be provided, the ideal candidate would have customer service experience in the automotive parts industry or demonstrate a mechanical inclination.

This role offers an exciting prospect to work in a dynamic workplace for two team-oriented companies with a wide variety of daily responsibilities. This unique position will play an integral role within our organization, providing front line sales & customer service for The Battery Post, as well as support to our fire extinguisher division under FireX Inspections.

Duties

- Respond to customers in person and over the phone with respect to product inquiries
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels and provide input on re-stocking process
- Diagnose and troubleshoot battery issues using specialized tools and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance on battery systems to extend lifespan and performance
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding battery products and services




- Collaborate with other team members to provide the best solutions for customers
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and customer interactions
- Repair, replace, or upgrade extinguisher components to ensure safety and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all operations

Skills

- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Knowledge of sales support functions and customer relationship management
- Organizational skills to manage multiple service appointments and sales activities efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
