The successful candidate will provide support to our underwriters through collaboration and performing a variety of administrative duties associated with the underwriting function.
Completing the entry of new business, endorsements and renewals into the system and issuing policies. Training and mentoring less experienced staff, as well as assisting team lead or manager with workflow and creation of a team-oriented approach to meeting Regional and Corporate goals. Ordering risk inspections for underwriters, as requested.
You value cooperative and collaborative dialogue because diverse perspectives offer more creative and productive solutions. Minimum 2–3 years insurance industry experience, preferably commercial insurance.
High School
Diploma required.
Chartered Insurance
Professional (CIP) courses an asset.
Proficiency in both English and French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority anglophone and francophone clients, groups, and teams.
